WHY PRISMA TECH

DURABLE
Solid surface sheets can survive the impact, nicks, and cuts happening from daily wear and tear during its maintenance.
HYGIENE

Polyroc solid surface sheets are easy to clean, hygienic, and low maintenance. They are bacteria-free because they don’t have any gaps where germs can grow, helping to keep the environment healthy, and they are also food-safe.

ANTI-MICROBIAL

Solid surface sheets are antimicrobial, meaning they are resistant to bacteria, mold, and mildew. They do not allow liquids to penetrate the surface and help prevent the growth of bacteria, mold, and fungus.

Non-Porous and Stain Resistant

Polyroc is a non-porous material, so fluids cannot penetrate its surface. All types of stubborn stains, tints, pigments, dyes, or tinges can be easily removed by following the prescribed cleaning instructions.

REPAIRABLE

Just a little effort can restore solid surface sheet tops to mint condition. Heavy, stubborn stains or minor scratches can be easily erased without a trace by simply rubbing with a household cleaner.

SEAMLESS DESIGN

Polyroc solid surfaces are virtually seamless due to their color-coordinated adhesive bond joints, resulting in a smooth surface. These sheets allow you to create large area designs fashioned from a single element, without visible joints.

Recommendations

Heat

Always use heat protection pads, trivets, or protective sink mats for hot cookware, or allow cookware to cool on the hob first. Never place hot pans, particularly cast-iron ones, directly onto solid surface countertops or into a sink. Pouring boiling liquids into sinks without turning on the cold tap may damage the surface. Excessive heat can damage any surface.

Scratches

Never cut or chop directly on solid surface sheets; always use a cutting board instead. Like all materials, solid surfaces can show slight abrasion marks because of normal daily use.

Chemical Spills

Accidental spills of strong chemicals (such as paint stripper, brush cleaner, metal cleaners, oven cleaners, cleaners containing methylene chloride, acid drain cleaners, acetone-based nail polish removers, etc.) should be flushed promptly with plenty of soapy water to avoid damaging the worktops.

For nail varnish spills, a non-acetone-based remover can be used, followed by flushing with water.

Undetected or prolonged exposure to chemicals may damage the surface.

All the aforementioned issues can be repaired, leaving absolutely no marks behind if proper care and repairs are carried out by professionals.
